It is wonderful MD Anderson continues to follow me as I recover from breast cancer! It is very personal care and supports me in many areas such as my emotional health and my handling of lymphedema in my legs. Heather Augustiniak is so easy to work with! I feel she is truly interested in me and she explains everything so clearly. She is one of the reasons this outreach program is so successful! I am so grateful to be included in this program!

Heather A. is extremely professional, and she is a good listener. She referred me to the store on the 2nd floor of the building to be fitted for bras that will be more suitable for me than the ones I have been wearing since my lumpectomy in 2019. I wouldn't have known this service was available if she hadn't suggested it.

Everyone I interacted with the day of my appointment, was "nice", Kind, caring, considerate. When I checked in I asked if I could buy some water. Instead a lady went and got me a glass of water with ice! As I was getting on an elevator, a janitor was getting off. He held the elevator. He smiled . He made some pleasant small talk. The lady who checked me in was also very kind. I can't say exactly how. But she was in a good mood, smiled a lot and this is on a Friday after a long week. I can't say enough good things about my provider. She as extremely knowledgeable. It felt like I was talking to a friend who was really smart. And finally The lady who checked me out. We had a small conversation. She had a bible verse up on her window. I am a Christian. I am so happy to see a place that allows this expression. It is sadly lacking these days. You guys hit it out of the park. I didn't even mind coming to see the doctor. I don't usually take the time to do this, but if at least one person is told job well done, it's worth my time.

I always look forward to my appointments with Ms. Heather. Her level of care is exemplary. She always has my best interest in mind. This appointment she demonstrated a level of care beyond my imagination. She identified an area of concern and implored me to go to the ED. Because I trust her so much, and respect her opinion, I relented.I'm just sad I didn't get my full appointment with her as she had to focus on my emergent care. I highly recommend the Survivorship to anyone post treatment. She truly cares for her patients... and it's reciprocal.

I like that the focus of care is broader than the cellular level. MD Anderson tries to help address all the different impacts cancer has on our daily lives, during, and long after treatment. After losing parts of our bodies, or functions, patients can just go into ???survival mode???. But your staff provides guidance to enhance the new version of us. This goes beyond treating, and involves CARING- it???s personal. I???ve always marveled at how Apple finds such understanding, helpul tech support people to work with old, clueless customers??? And MD Andersen people are even more miraculous, because we trust that they care.

Be a breast cancer survivor stage 3-4a I am hyper vigilant. My doctor requested a sons-gram I had actually demand for it too be done only to be told that I have give the tech the actual location of my discomfort; in trying to explain how the pain was not just local and was very difficult to pin point. Also is it customary why the question isn???t ask if you may want to speak with doctor who has reading your results the patient may have some, let me say not every patient may need this. I have relocated to Flordia the medical system procedure's are different to say the least. The staff is great and perform the jobs well.

Patient service seems paramount at Baptist MD Anderson Breast and Surgical Oncology Clinic. Everyone is so pleasant, accommodating, helpful & professional. The facility itself is nice & clean & the view from the 7th floor waiting area is beautiful & peaceful. Heather Augustyniak is a jewel. She is cheerful & spends the time you need to listen & answer your questions. And I cannot rave enough about Dr. Samiian who did my surgery. I travel approx. 220 miles round trip to get this excellent care. Just wish there was a similar MD Anderson Breast & Surgical Oncology Clinic in my area.
