LeeAnn Mengel Biography and Information
LeeAnn Mengel is the vice president administrator of Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center. In her role, she is responsible for the operational and strategic direction of Baptist Health cancer programs.
Board-certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives, Mengel has spent her career in healthcare both as a nurse and as an administrator. Mengel joined Baptist Health in 2010 as an operations administrator of Specialty Services and has been the administrator of Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center since 2017. Prior to that, she served as a health care consultant and worked in the health care field for over 10 years.
Mengel earned her master’s in business from Jacksonville University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Florida State University.
She has served in various community leadership positions, including budget and finance chair for the ElderSource Board of Directors, local treasurer for the Boy Scouts of America, and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).
