Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full time evening shift position in the Emergency Department at our Baptist South campus.
As an Assistant Nurse Manager for Baptist Health you will:
- Continuously monitor and interpret pt.cond. on the assigned unit
- Coordinate care provided by the unit`s professional and supportive staff members.
- Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and eval. of nursing care provided to the unit`s patients in accordance with the mission statement
- Facilitate communication between medical staff members and nursing staff members regarding patient care issues.
- Participate in community activities related to healthcare education and/or patient/family advocacy.

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Experience
- Emergency Nursing Experience
License and Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Workplace Violence Certification Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
- Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) Required
- Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
- Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
