Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager in our Women's OB unit at Baptist Medical Center - Clay

This position is in our Labor and Delivery, Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Clay Baptist Clay is a Magnet™ designated hospital, the gold standard for excellence in patient care. We serve families throughout the area with high-quality, comprehensive care for every stage of life.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nursing care patients on the Labor and Delivery unit
  • Assessment and reassessment of unit function
  • Acting as a liason for staff, physicians, and other departments
  • Being a resource for staff members, mentoring growth and providing feedback
  • Monitoring and adjusting shcedules in accordance with unit budget
  • Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual erformance reviews

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • Medical Surgical Experience Required
  • Post- Surgical Nursing Experience Required
  • Nursing Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
