Benefits Specialist, Total Rewards, Hybrid

Job Summary

Support the administration of health and welfare plans offered to team members of Baptist Health. Duties include orienting new team members on their benefits packages, ensuring benefit enrollments process correctly, as well as responding to questions from team members regarding benefits. Also responsible for educating existing team members when their benefits change and assisting them to make choices each year during open enrollment. Duties also include providing support to insurance companies, brokers/consultants, and third party administrators. Collaborate with internal partners including HRIS, payroll, and various HR partners.

Shift: Required 3 days onsite

• 1-2 years Benefits Experience
• Knowledge of DOL Regulations
• Knowledge of Welfare Plans
• Knowledge of HIPAA
• Knowledge of IRS Regulations
• Knowledge of COBRA
• Knowledge of ERISA plans
