Baptist Health is looking to add a Cardiac Echo Sonographer to our Diagnostic Cardiology Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time, day shift opportunity. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will perform diagnostic exams of the heart using Cardiac Ultrasound techniques. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients. This Cardiac Echo Sonographer will operate ultrasound equipment that provides moving 2-D or 3-D images of the heart and its chambers.

As a Cardiac Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing diagnostic examinations of the heart using Ultrasound techniques.
  • Reviewing and recording cases.
  • Providing as needed back up to other non-invasive areas of the Cardiac Department.
  • Asisst the working physicians to diagnose heart problems in patients.

Experience

  • 1-2 years Cardiac Echo Sonography Experience

License and Certification

  • Adult Echo Credentials through either ARDMS or CCI within 18 months of hire Required
  • Adult Echocardiography (AE) (ARDMS-RDCS) Preferred Or
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Preferred Or
