Baptist Health is looking to add a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist in the Cath Lab at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville to join our Float Team! 

We currently have a PRN, day shift opportunitiy available working 4 shift per month. This Cardiovascular Technologist must be comfortable working at both our Baptist South and Jacksonville locations. The Float team at Baptist Health is a dynamic team of professionals making an impact in the world of Cardiology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and patient-focused environment. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity working 4 shift per month.

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for: 

• Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
• Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
• Preparing Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.

Note: Eligible candidates must not have been employed with Baptist Health within the last 12 months.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
• Experience working at another hospital

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
