Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator in our Med/Surg Department at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL . This position is full-time day shifts 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Health Unit Coordinator Job Responsibilities: 

• Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units
• Answering  call lights and telephones promptly
• Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment
• Maintaining patient chart folders
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station

• Activities of Daily Living;

• Collecting lab specimens;

• Intake and output monitoring;
