Baptist Medical Center is looking for a compassionate Health Unit Coordinator to join our Progressive care Team. This is a full-time evenings position 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m Monday through Friday located at Baptist Medical Center South, Jacksonville Fl.
We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates. The Health Unit Coordinator will be responsibe for:
- Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units
- Screening visitors entering and exiting the unit
- Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment
- Maintaining patient chart folders
- Organizing admission and discharge files
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
- Clerical duties
- Supporting Nurse Managers
- Patient activities of daily living
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients
