Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently looking for a Chaplain Resident to support the Spiritual Care department at Baptist Medical Center. This is a Full-Time Various Shifts Opportunity.
The Residency Program begins September 2, 2025 and ends August 29th, 2026.
The candidate must have 1 ACPE Unit and Master Of Theological Studies/Master of Ministry/Master of Divinity/Master of Counseling. This is a Educational position that offers a Scholarship and 3 ACPE Units. Students can move on to a Residency II once this has been completed to focus on a Specialty or go into the field as a Staff Chaplain.
The Chaplain Resident will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Offering emotional and spiritual support to patients, family, and staff members facing various life changes.
- Provide pastoral care for team members and patients by developing efficient follow-up support plans.
- Develops efficient follow-up support plans for patients
- Comply with the Standards and Objectives of the ACPE and its Baptist Medical Center Residency Program Curriculum.
- Rotate in-hospital and on-call with fellow residents.
