Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Clinical Transformation Specialist in our Clinical Informatics Team located at Baptist Jacksonville in a Hybrid Setting.

The focus of this role within our Clinical Informatics and Transformation department is to support and optimize clinical communication processes and technology systems within Baptist Health. Candidates will work alongside physicians, nurses and other clinicians in utilizing clinical communication and collaboration platforms to support efficient clinician and patient focused communication work-flows that ensure the right information is getting to the right clinician in a manner that promotes safe and timely care. This role will also encompass working with technical teams and vendors on integration, automation and optimization efforts involving clinical communication.

Clinical Transformation Specialist responsibilities

  • The Clinical Transformation Specialist is responsible for the planning, design, implementation and evaluation of clinical transformation and innovation work within the Health Transformation department.
  • Utilizes critical analysis to plan, problem solve, and to mitigate risk in the deployment of clinical applications and care transformation processes.
  • The Clinical Transformation specialist works with organizational teams to support, problem solve and ensure successful implementation of clinical improvement work-flows and processes involving technology. Recognizes the impact of change and strategically plans communication and education.
  • The Clinical Transformation Specialist is outcomes focused and establishes criteria to measure and evaluate the impact of technology and processes to transform and optimize clinical work-flow within the delivery of patient care.
  • Assesses current state and future state work-flows and works with stakeholders to identify gaps and retool processes to ensure process improvement and reduction in content and work-flow variation.
  • Knowledgeable of technical application requirements including clinical, quality, regulatory, and operational perspectives.
  • Supports the integration and use of evidence-based methods, tools, and guidelines linked to effective outcomes while considering opportunities for standardization, and cost efficiency.
  • Is data driven and competent in data analytics to measure baseline and progress of goals inclusive of obtaining new insights and knowledge to connect outcomes.
  • Effectively leads system-wide cross-functional teams in a matrix reporting structure, as well as support collaboration and encourage acceptance of and enthusiasm for changes associated with Care Transformation.

License and Certification

  • Licensed RN or licensure in related healthcare field Required
