Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a Full-Time opportunity working 6:30am-3:00pm with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook working in a restaurant. ServSafe certification is a plus.

As a Cook I, you will be responsible for:

  • Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff.
  • Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies
  • Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Taking ownership of their area -- this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers
