Job Summary

We're hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Cardiology department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days shift. 

This is a very team and family oriented office that sees around 3,000 patients a day!  It is very busy and fast paced, so we are looking for a focused, task-oriented, self motivated, energetic team player who knows how to handle themselves in a professional environment while also having fun!  Our ideal candidate is friendly, well spoken, and has a fantastic work ethic.

The Physician Office Registered Nurse:

  • Provides nursing assistance to physicians
  • Greets and chaperons patients during medical part of visit
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Handles and processes prescriptions and referrals
  • Performs waived test list in laboratory and IV therapy
