Job Summary
We're hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Cardiology department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days shift.
This is a very team and family oriented office that sees around 3,000 patients a day! It is very busy and fast paced, so we are looking for a focused, task-oriented, self motivated, energetic team player who knows how to handle themselves in a professional environment while also having fun! Our ideal candidate is friendly, well spoken, and has a fantastic work ethic.
The Licensed Practical Nurse:
- Chaperones and greets patients
- Obtains vital signs
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care/treatment, diagnostic tests
- Processes prescriptions, referrals
- Begins IV therapy
- Administers medicines
- Provides patient information
- Rooms patients upon arrival for their appointment
