Job Summary

We're hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Cardiology department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Days shift.

This is a very team and family oriented office that sees around 3,000 patients a day! It is very busy and fast paced, so we are looking for a focused, task-oriented, self motivated, energetic team player who knows how to handle themselves in a professional environment while also having fun! Our ideal candidate is friendly, well spoken, and has a fantastic work ethic.

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Chaperones and greets patients
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care/treatment, diagnostic tests
  • Processes prescriptions, referrals
  • Begins IV therapy
  • Administers medicines
  • Provides patient information
  • Rooms patients upon arrival for their appointment
