Job Summary

Oversees the operation and development of the Baptist Jacksonville Heart Center including Cardiac Cath Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, Structural Heart Hybrid Lab, Transesophageal Echocardiogram Area, and Cardiac Outpatient Patient Services for pre and post procedure care. Oversee the operation and development of the Baptist Jacksonville Inpatient and Ambulatory Cardiac Testing sites, including the Pavilion and University locations, and others as assigned. Responsible for the day-to-day operations, policies, program development, personnel management, and budgets. Responsible for workforce planning of specialty trained staff to support program growth, including recruitment, retention, competency and continuous in-services. Responsible for inventory management including maintain a proper level of supplies and equipment necessary to deliver invasive and non-invasive cardiac care. Will be a part of the VAT committee, New Technology Committee, and others as assigned to coordinate supply utilization within the system. Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care in a cost efficient environment. Partners with medical staff to achieve programmatic growth and excellent patient care outcomes. Responsible for accreditation readiness required by regulatory agencies. Represents the department in various system-wide meetings. Serves as the System-wide lead to coordinate standardization of operations, processes, technology evaluation and implementation, and projects as assigned.

• Over 5 years Healthcare Administration Management Experience Required
• Over 5 years Risk Management Experience Required
• Over 5 years Management Experience Required

License and Certification

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) Preferred
