Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Director, Heart Center to lead the Heart Center Team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time, in-person leadership opportunity located at our downtown Jacksonville campus.

This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and development of the Baptist Jacksonville Heart Center including Cardiac Cath Labs, Electrophysiology Labs, Structural Heart Hybrid Lab, Transesophageal Echocardiogram Area, and Cardiac Outpatient Patient Services for pre- and post-procedure care. Additionally, this role will oversee the Baptist Jacksonville Inpatient and Ambulatory Cardiac Testing sites, including the Pavilion and University locations, as well as other assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations, policies, program development, personnel management, and budgets.
• Lead workforce planning to support program growth, including recruitment, retention, competency, and continuous in-services.
• Oversee inventory management to ensure proper level of supplies and equipment necessary for invasive and non-invasive cardiac care.
• Participate in the VAT committee, New Technology Committee, and other system-wide initiatives to coordinate supply utilization.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to drive programmatic growth and achieve excellent patient care outcomes.
• Maintain accreditation readiness required by regulatory agencies.
• Represent the department in various system-wide meetings.
• Serve as the system-wide lead for standardizing operations, evaluating and implementing new technology, and managing projects as assigned.

Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership in cardiovascular services

Registered Nurse license required.
