EKG/Stress Technician, PRN, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a EKG/Stress Technician in our Diagnostic Cardiology Unit at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

As a EKG/Stress Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Properly places leads and performs EKGs.
• Maintains work log and sends orders to reading physicians.
• Prepares patients for stress (regular, nuclear, and echo) by prepping skin.
• Placing monitor and obtaining vital signs.
• Provides assistance to patients undergoing stress.
• Performing Holter application.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 1-2 years Experience performing EKG
• Experience performing Holter application

License and Certification

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
