Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Emergency Department Technician to add to our Emergency Department at Baptist Beaches. This is a Full-Time Nights opportunity with 12-hour shifts. It will be a 36 hour per week commitment. The Emergency Department Technician will be responsible for:
- Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living;
- Maintaining a safe environment;
- Collecting lab specimens;
- Intake and Output monitoring;
- Electronic medical record documentation;
- Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Education Required
High School Diploma/GED
Education Preferred
Associate's Degree
Experience
- Less than 1 year Hospital Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Trasnport Medicine Setting Experience Required
- Less than 1 year Patient Care Experience Required
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Required Or
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required Or
