Job Summary
We are looking for an EP Device Nurse to support the Electrophysiology/Cardiology department. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No Weekends. No on-call!
The individual conducts follow-up visits for pacemaker and implantable defibrillator patients, evaluating cardiac devices and managing data for the Home Monitoring system. Responsibilities include documenting patient charts, generating billing data, triaging information to the appropriate clinician, and delivering patient-focused care daily. As an EP Device Nurse, you will travel to 9 closely located EP Device Clinics based on daily needs. Baptist Health is known for its commitment to patient care and satisfaction. EP Device Nurse/Pacemaker Nurse Main Responsibilities:
- The EP Device Nurse functions with a great deal of autonomy in the day-to-day operations of the Arrhythmia Center under the clinical supervision of a Cardiologist
- The Pacemaker Nurse will perform follow-up visits of pacemaker and Implantable Defibrillator patients
- This includes device evaluation, Home Monitoring system data entry and reporting, charting documentation, billing data generation, and triaging information to the appropriate follow-up clinician
- Perform follow-up visits for pacemaker and Implantable Defibrillator patients
- Experience with the implementation of cardiac devices
- Enter data and report for the Home Monitoring system
- Triage information to the appropriate follow-up clinician
- Provide patient focused care throughout each day

Education Required
Associate's Degree - Nursing
Education Preferred
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience
- One-Two Years Cardiac Experience Required
- Experience with Implantable Defibrillator patients
- Experience with the implementation of cardiac devices
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
