Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Baptist is seeking a visionary Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to join our Executive Leadership team. This key role is responsible for shaping, driving, and supporting strategic initiatives that fuel organizational growth and long-term success.
Working closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership, the CSO will lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide strategic roadmap. This includes managing and evolving the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment across departments, and translating high-level strategies into actionable plans that drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Executive Leadership to identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities.
Design and lead the organization’s strategic planning process, including the development of long- and short-term goals.
Create a cohesive strategic execution plan and ensure alignment across business units.
Establish clear, measurable objectives and key results (OKRs), and develop systems for tracking and reporting progress.
Identify and assess risks to strategic initiatives and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Communicate strategy clearly across the organization to foster understanding, alignment, and engagement.
Drive change management efforts to support strategic implementation and organizational transformation.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in strategic leadership roles, preferably within healthcare or similarly complex industries.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
A track record of driving organizational growth and managing change effectively.
An MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree is preferred.
