Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Field Nurse to our Infusion Therapy Department. This is a PRN opportunity that primarily services the Westside and Clay County area.

Various shifts are available and dependable transportation is required for home health visits. This position is eligible for mileage reimbursement. Coverage areas available currently in Nassau, North Duval, Jax Beaches, South Duval, West JacksonvilleClay,, Baker, and St. Johns. Candidates for this position will be required to obtain a BSN within 5 years of employment.

Shift Details: Various Shifts Available (PRN)

Registered Nurse, Baptist Infusion Therapy, Job Responsibilities:

• The RN (Field Nurse) provides patient care and education tailored to the patient/caregiver's knowledge level.
• Obtains vital signs, administers medication, performs lab work, records chief complaints and patient status.
• The nurse administers medication through various routes and performs lab work.
• The nurse manages the patient's care through assessment, evaluation, and collaboration with peers, Clinical Service Manager, and MD.
• Participates in case management conferences and provides effective, accurate and timely communication and documentation.
• This individual reports to the Clinical Service Manager.

Experience

• 1-2 years Medical Office Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Home Health Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
