Job Summary
First Year HVAC Apprentice, Plant Facilities Department, M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Baptist Medical Center.
- Assists craftsmen in the completion of assigned duties
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Support troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve system issues.
- Learn and apply industry standards and best practices under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in training programs and certifications to advance technical knowledge.
- Requires attending class after working hours 2 nights a week when classes are in session
