Job Summary
We’re looking for experienced and dynamic licensed clinicians to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health Service Line. *Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required*
Shift: Full-TimeMonday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm with a weekend rotation of one weekend every 4th with a 7am - 3:30pm shift Saturday/Sunday.

The Mental Health Evaluator team is located at the Baptist Jacksonville campus and is responsible to evaluate behavioral health patients arriving at all 10 Baptist EDs in the system. As a Mental Health Evaluator, you will be consulted by ED physicians to assess adult and pediatric patients and then collaborate with the psychiatry provider to arrive at a disposition of admission or discharge and then facilitate the result.
- The MHE completes psychosocial and suicide assessments of patients in the ED in person or via telehealth.
- The MHE completes maternal mental health consults and pediatric trauma screenings on weekends when necessary.
- Work in Epic, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Teledoc is daily workflow.
- Note: BLS is required at onboarding. CPI, EMTALA, and Baker Act training must be completed within the first 30 days of employment and is provided. Other annual competencies are required and provided on the internal learning management system.
*** Must work with the credentialing department and Medical Staff Office to obtain hospital privileges to become billing provider before seeing patients ***
