Job Summary
*Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available*We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for the Baptist Heart Specialists office located at Baptist Pavilion. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday through Friday. Some travel to other locations is required when needed.
This position is for the Baptist Pavilion Cardiology office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as assisting provider. Candidate will need to know EKGs and use EMR system. Experience in Family Practice or Cardiology is preferred.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience
- 2 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
License and Certification
