Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Neurology Department at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for an MA role within Baptist Medical Group in Nassau. The candidate will be responsible for back office tasks, such as rooming patients and assisting one provider. Experience working in a Medical office with Medical Assistant experience is preferred. Open to Medical Assistant experience from different specialties.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience
- 3-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
- 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Preferred
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
