Baptist Health is looking for a Medical Assistant for our Thoracic Surgery Unit at Baptist MD Anderson. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday-Friday 8-5.

Baptist MD Andersons Cancer Center combines the clinical breakthroughs of the number one cancer center in America and the full resources of North Floridas largest and most preferred health system. This role would require you to work at our Baptist South campus two days a month.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining vital signs
  • Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical part of visit
  • Maintaining medical documentationII
  • Scheduling care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Processing prescription requests and referrals
  • Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs
