Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine team at our newest campus, Baptist Clay which is located in Fleming Island, FL. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist schedule is a Part-Time, day shift opportunity with hours Monday through Wednesday from 9:00am - 5:30pm.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will be responsible for: 

• Performs high quality diagnostic procedures.
• Knowledge of (and adherence to) State of Florida rules and regulations in regard to Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
• Protects patients, self, others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifies, Prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Experience

• Customer Service Experience
• Radioactive Material Experience
• Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
• Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) Required
• Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) Required Or
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist Required
