Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to our Cardiology/Nuclear Medicine team at our newest campus, Baptist Clay which is located in Fleming Island, FL. This Nuclear Medicine Technologist schedule is a Part-Time, day shift opportunity with hours Monday through Wednesday from 9:00am - 5:30pm.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will be responsible for:
- Performs high quality diagnostic procedures.
- Knowledge of (and adherence to) State of Florida rules and regulations in regard to Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials.
- Protects patients, self, others from unnecessary/excessive radiation exposure.
- Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
- Identifies, Prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

- Customer Service Experience
- Radioactive Material Experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
- Experience working in a hospital setting
License and Certification
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
- Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine ARRT (N) Required
- Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) Required Or
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
- Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist Required
