Pediatric Pharmacist, Wolfson Children's Hospital

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Pediatric Pharmacist in our Pediatric Pharmacy at Wolfson Children's Hospital, located in Jacksonville FL. This is a full-time, various shift, opportunity working days and evenings, every fourth weekend coverage.

As a Pediatric Pharmacist, you l be responsible for:

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.

Experience

• 1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
• 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
• Residency Training
• Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Registered Pharmacist Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Pharmacist Required
