Pharmacist, Evenings, Baptist Clay

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Pharmacist to our Pharmacy at Baptist Clay located in Fleming Island, FL. This is a full time, evening shift, opportunity working Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. This position will support both the central pharmacy and the emergency department. 

As the Pharmacist, you will be responsible for: 

• Enters orders with great accuracy.
• Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
• Answers questions for all health care professionals.
• Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.

Experience

• 1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
• 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
• Residency Training
• Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Registered Pharmacist Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Pharmacist Required
