We’re hiring a Physical Therapist for our Acute Care Rehab Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN, weekend shift opportunity located at Baptist South.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab Team at Baptist South. This position requires a candidate with experience working in an acute care setting, and previous experience in ortho and neuro care. This is a PRN weekend opportunity.

Physical Therapist, Acute Care, Job Responsibilities: 

  • Evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment to patients.
  • Provides patient care to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
  • Oversees support staff. Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities.
  • Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
  • Participates in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

  • 1+ year Experience working in an Acute Care setting preferred
  • Orthopedics
  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
  • Neuro Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Required
