Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center Beaches is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Power Plant Operator to join our Plant and Facilities Department at our Baptist Medical Center location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.

As a Power Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the equipment in the Energy and Utility Plant.
  • Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment.
  • Monitoring and adjusting equipment as necessary to maintain optimal operation.
  • Identifying potential problems and taking appropriate action to resolve problems and minimize damage to equipment.
  • Documenting equipment readings and activities as required.
  • Maintaining the energy and utility plant in a clean, organized and safe condition.
  • Primary responsibilities will be energy and utilities but will also be given general mechanical assignments as needed.
