Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville to join our Float Team!

We currently have a PRN, various shift opportunity available. This position will be based at our Baptist South and Jacksonville locations. The Float team at Baptist Health is a dynamic team of professionals making an impact in the world of Cardiology. The ideal candidate will have 2+ consecutive years of experience as a Cath Lab nurse. *Flat Rate of $55/hr!!*

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab Department at our South and Downtown locations in Jacksonville, FL! This is a PRN shift opportunity, 4 shifts a month, and will float to both the South and Downtown Campuses.

As a Registered Nurse in our Cath Lab, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the patient is consented and pre-procedure assessment and paperwork are completed.
• Monitoring the patient during Cardiac and structural heart procedures, procedural sedation, providing medication needed for patient care during procedures, and communicating any concerns, abnormalities, or issues with Cardiologists.
• Providing support during procedures (circulating) by dropping sterile supplies for the Cardiologist and scrub tech.
• Transporting patients post-procedure to inpatient care and providing hand-off communication.
• Must possess critical thinking skills to provide preemptive care during procedures.
• Monitoring and recording patient procedures when not in a circulator or sedating role.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 2 years Critical Care Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
