Registered Nurse, Neurosurgery

Job Summary

We're hiring for a Physician Office Registered Nurse for Lyerly Neurosurgery downtown. This is a full-time day shift.

Lyerly Neurosurgery provides full service neurosurgical care. Baptist Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center is the regional epicenter for advanced diagnostics and treatments for strokes, brain aneurysms and other cerebrovascular conditions in adults and children. Thanks to cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art facilities, our renowned team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, Advanced Care practitioners, and specialized nursing staff are helping to save lives and preserve quality of life for our residents of North Florida and South Georgia.

The Registered Nurse at Lyerly Neurosurgery will be responsible for:

• Clinic duties
• Inputting orders (imaging, medications, lab work, etc.)
• Removing sutures/staples
• Scheduling Surgeries
• FMLA paperwork
• Inputting orders
• Triage (urgent vs. non-urgent)
• Hx checks/ call with results

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• One Year Nursing Experience Required
• Neurology Experience Preferred
• Neurosurgery Experience Preferred

License and Certification

• Registered Nurse Certified (RNC) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
