Baptist Health is hiring a Research Coordinator to join the Baptist MD Anderson Research Team. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus.
Under the general direction of the Oncology Research Director, the Oncology Research Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of multiple research activities throughout Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC). The Oncology Research Coordinator ensures that research is conducted in accordance with established standards by working with Oncology Clinical Research Nurses and Clinical Investigators to coordinate study-related activities. The Oncology Research Coordinator may also assist the Regulatory Coordinator and Data Coordinator in clinical, regulatory and administrative activities. The Oncology Research Coordinator may coordinate activities related to Registry studies and patient activities post-protocol treatment. She/he will assist the Oncology Research Nurses in clinical activities during treatment and for which is within her/his scope of practice and for which are consistent with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (BCP), Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), local regulations, institutional policies and procedures, and sponsor specifications. The Oncology Research Coordinator will maintain knowledge of JCAHO related safety requirements, OHRP requirements, human subject protection standards, and all institutional policies and procedures.
