Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Specialist, Amendment Office to join the privacy team. This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity located at Southbank.
Responsible for:
- responding to varied and advanced HIPAA request for amendments to electronic and paper medical records including but not limited to Requests for Amendments and Accounting of Disclosures for acute and ambulatory, privacy investigations involving HIM, releasing international and other ROI record requests,
- assisting with performing HIM and ROI quality audits for the staff Bonus Program,
- providing HIPAA and ROI education to staff,
- reviewing and updating ROI policy and procedures and
- any other job duties as assigned by leadership.
***Certifcation note: if candidate does not have one of the required certifications, they must be eligible for a certification at time of hire, and obtain a certification within 2 years of hire date.
