Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Specialist, HIM to join the Revenue Cycle Health Information Management team. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located on the Baptist Clay campus.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This role will perform a variety of tasks: In ROI processing requests for medical information for patient and continued care requestors with proper authorization by consistently following HIPAA guidelines for timely access; In Scanning retrieving, prepping, and scanning medical information into the electronic medical record, and ensuring data integrity of the scanned documents; In Deficiency Tracking reviewing all appropriate documents in ED and outpatient encounters for physician completion in the electronic medical record per regulatory guidelines.
*Knowledge of Health Information Management required.

- Certified Documentation Improvement Professional, (CDIP) Preferred
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) Preferred
- Certified Health Document Specialist (CHDS) Preferred
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) Preferred
