Job Summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join the Decision Support team.   This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus of Baptist Health.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a liaison between the IT and Finance for the development of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
• Supports applications by providing technical expertise in the advanced use of those applications.
• Evaluates new technology developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate solutions and/or modifications to existing solutions.
• Prepares communication and, if necessary, makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
• Assists in the maintenance and supervises the use of applications and systems.
• Solves complex technical problems within scope of systems under supervision.
• Sets security policy for systems according to System standards.
• Works independently with minimal guidance.
• May lead and manage projects.
• Also has accountability for ongoing processes or activities.
• Acts as a resource and trainer for colleagues with less knowledge and experience.
• Level at which a career may stabilize for many years or until retirement.
