Sr. Epic OpTime Anesthesia Analyst, Epic Inpatient, Baptist Medical Center.
The Senior Epic OpTime Anesthesia Analyst is responsible for the configuration, implementation, optimization, and support of the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules within a healthcare organization. This role collaborates with clinical and operational teams to analyze workflows, design system solutions, resolve issues, and ensure seamless functionality. They also lead system upgrades, provide user training, and maintain expertise in Epic systems to enhance perioperative and anesthesia services, supporting efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
Sr. Epic OpTime Anesthesia Analyst Responsibilities:
- Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests and maintains Clinical/EHR software applications. Interfaces with user departments to anticipate and resolve problems, develops and modifies procedures to solve data processing problems and prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written.
- Coordinates implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, application design, and debugging of complex workflows with multiple modules.
- Utilize deep understanding of the technical components of all modules to maintain system integrity. Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Solves complex technical problems in own discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance. May lead small projects with limited scope/risks or workstreams within a broader project.
- May also have accountability for on-going processes, programs or activities.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Level at which a career may stabilize for many years or until retirement.
