Sr. Systems Engineering Analyst

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking to add a Sr. Systems Engineering Analyst to join our team located at Baptist Jacksonville.

The Sr. Systems Engineering Analyst will be responsible for in maintaining and optimizing both cloud-based and on-premise environments for Baptist organizations. Responsibilities include performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and infrastructure updates to ensure peak performance and strict security compliance. This individual must be proficient in managing ServiceNow incidents and requests daily while addressing project-based tasks. Adept at collaborating with Project Management to gather server requirements and build robust server infrastructure tailored to project needs.

Sr. Systems Engineering Analyst Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure and implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Monitors the performance of systems. Formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs.
• Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities.
• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Solves complex technical problems in own discipline. Works independently with minimal guidance. May lead small projects with limited scope/risks or workstreams within a broader project.
• May also have accountability for on-going processes, programs or activities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Level at which a career may stabilize for many years or until retirement.
• Certification note: Both certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

• Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104 Required
