Sterile Processing Technician, Main OR, PRN, Baptist Clay

Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support our Surgical Services Teams at Baptist Clay. This will be a PRN Days opportunity. 

As a Sterile Processing Technician, your responsibilities include:

• Assessing, planning and/or delivery of prep & sterile, patient care & environmental requirements
• Oversee all instrumentation, equipment & supplies for unit
• Assisting with patient care, computer data entry, materials oversight, anesthesia supply oversight & environmental oversight.
• Maintains all sterilization records and sterilization equipment using standards set by AORN

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 1-2 years Instrument Experience
• Linen Processing Experience

License and Certification

None
