Job Summary

We are looking for a Surgical Technologist to support our Main Operating Room at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This Surgical Technologist position will be a full-time weekend position, with a shift of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:45AM to 7:15PM.

As a Surgical Technologist for the Main OR, your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for and assisting with surgical procedures in the scrub role
  • Managing case readiness for the day
  • Assisting in preparation and organization for the upcoming week
  • Assembling, organizing and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures
  • Assists in the care and maintenance of the equipment and instrumentation in surgical services

Experience

  • 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) NCCT Required Or
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Required Or
