We are looking to add a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to our Cardiology team! This Vascular Ultrasound Tech will mostly be traveling between our University, South, and Pavillion locations.

The vascular tech department is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for patients with vascular conditions. The department offers diagnostic imaging services such as vascular ultrasound and Doppler studies to evaluate blood vessels and assess blood flow. Vascular technologists perform assessments to diagnose and monitor vascular diseases, including peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, carotid artery disease, and aneurysms. They work closely with surgeons and healthcare professionals to provide preoperative and intraoperative assistance. The department's focus is on accurate diagnoses, tailored treatment plans, and collaborative patient care. This is a Full-Time opportunity with hours of M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM in Jacksonville, FL.

As a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for:

• Promoting good will between departments & floors
• Presents a professional, compassionate demeanor with patients.
• Identifying, prepaparing, administering, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

• One Year Songrapher Experience Preferred
• Experience Working in a Hospital Setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Experience with Vascular Ultrasound Preferred
• Experience Ablating Veins Independently Preferred

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• ARDMS License Required
• Licensed Vascular Technologist Required
• Licensed Sonographer Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
