Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Adult/Geriatric Psychologist role as part of our AgeWell Health Program at our location by the airport. This is a Full-time day's opportunity.

The AgeWell Institute was formed in October 2012, and serves as the only comprehensive geriatric care program in Northeast Florida.

This is a Monday-Friday, outpatient position, and focuses on adults and  senior patients aged 65 and up. This position will see patients in person. Our preferred candidate will come ready to engage in an innovative, collaborative approach to care. As a Geriatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosis and psychological treatment services to patients with behavioral issues, using best practices in the field.
  • Keeps up with medical record documentation and requests authorization for care as indicated by support staff and payors.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Psychologist Required
  • 1-2 years Behavioral Health Experience with Geriatric Population
  • Psy. D. or Phd
