Qualifications
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure
- Skilled at Myocardial Biopsy
- Able to perform right heart catheterizations to diagnosis and treat pulmonary hypertension
- No transplant experience necessary
- Manage and direct all outpatient heart failure clinics
- Guideline based protocols
- Training and monitoring of CHF Advance Provider Practitioners
- Track and Document improvement in system wide Heart Failure Outcomes
- Create an interdisciplinary program for both HFrEF and HFpEF
- Help create and develop an inpatient congestive heart failure program
- Inotropic support
- Work with CT surgery and Interventional Cardiologist on current LV assist devices, Impella, IABP
- Help guide CT surgery and cardiology on possible future LVAD support
- Be a Liaison to regional cardiac transplant programs
- Help enhance the EP aspect of Baptist Heart in heart failure patients
- Increase the appropriate use of Bi V ACID devices in HFrEF patients
- Help guide the appropriate management of cardiac dysrhythmias in HFrEF patients
- Develop and guide the use of invasive/device based hemodynamics monitoring of patients
- Enhance the role of structural heart in congestive heart failure patients
- Mitral Clip
- TAVR
- Have the determination and drive to create specialized cardiomyopathy clinics
- Amyloid
- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
- Advance HFpEF
- Create and guide Pulmonary Hypertension Program
- Involved in Clinical Research

Experience
- New and experience physicians are encouraged to apply
