FACULTY POSITION, BREAST SURGICAL ONCOLOGY
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an additional Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary Breast Oncology Program, which currently includes four other fellowship-trained breast surgeons. A start date by August (or September) of 2025 is anticipated.
The successful candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible and demonstrate a record of clinical excellence and scholarly accomplishments to warrant an academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Society of Surgical Oncology Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship is required. Candidates currently in fellowship are encouraged to apply. They will be supported in developing a rewarding clinical practice in the management of malignant and benign breast disease. There is no general surgery call required. Breast oncology call is shared with 4 other breast surgeons. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary oncology care including participation in quality management, scholarship, and clinical research programs. The program is supported by a dedicated breast imaging center and is accredited by NAPBC and the Commission on Cancer.
