Marigrace Doran Biography and Information
Marigrace Doran joined Baptist Health as a staff chaplain in September 2022, serving Women’s Health and Perinatal Services. Marigrace has an undergraduate degree in Advertising and Communications from the University of Florida. She later pursued her Master of Divinity degree from Loyola University of Chicago, within the Institute of Pastoral Studies. Marigrace is endorsed by The Assembly of Episcopal Healthcare Chaplains and the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. She completed her residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.
Chaplain Marigrace is thrilled to be part of the BMCJ and Wolfson Children’s Hospital team, serving patients, families and team members in our NICU, labor and delivery, maternal newborn and women’s health units. Her interests include mindfulness meditation practices and incorporating the arts into spiritual care. Marigrace is also passionate about holistic healthcare and offering trauma informed care especially to domestic violence and trafficking survivors.
Prior to following her spiritual call into chaplaincy, Marigrace worked in communications for several Jacksonville nonprofit organizations. She also dabbles in freelance graphic design and photography. Marigrace lives in Jacksonville with two spoiled felines.
