Carol Visconti Biography and Information
Carol Visconti, LMHC, LPC, DBTC, QS, is Associate Clinical Director, Outpatient Operations, and Director of Clinical Training - Master’s Registered Internship. In her roles, she oversees 10 Behavioral Health specialty lines and all mid-level interns in the Baptist internship program.
Carol joined Baptist Behavioral Health in 2015 as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In 2018, she began her administrative career at Baptist Health as the Manager of Acute and Crisis Services. While at Baptist, Carol initiated and launched the Bridge Program, which links high-acuity patients to behavioral health services in a safe and timely fashion. Carol also successfully executed the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), a systemwide initiative combining behavioral health care and primary care. She currently spearheads the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) program across the Baptist enterprise.
Carol graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and employed her degree as a retail auditor, eventually owning and operating a payroll service for over a decade. She then earned a Master of Arts in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University. After completing eight years of service in the mental health industry in her home state of New Jersey, Carol relocated to Northeast Florida in 2014.
