Assistant Nurse Manager, Flex Team, Full Time, Baptist Jacksonville

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing care to patients requiring immediate treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Shift Requirements:

The Flex Assistant Manager will be required to work the following shifts:

1. Administrative Duties:

   • Three (3) shifts of 8 hours each, focused on administrative responsibilities.

2. Patient Care Duties:

   • One (1) additional shift of 12 hours on the floor, managing patient load.

Total Weekly Commitment:

• 24 hours of administrative work and 12 hours of patient care.

Note:
Flexibility in scheduling is expected to meet the needs of the department.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• Critical Care Experience Required
• Post - Surgical Nursing Experience Required
• 3 - 5 years Nursing Experience Required

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
