Assistant Nurse Manager, Neurosurgical PCU, Part Time

Job Summary

Provides nursing care to patients on the Neuroscience Unit and is responsible for assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments. Resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff. Responsible for monitoring/adjusting manhours in accordance with unit budget. Assists manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Neuroscience Experience
• Telemetry Experience
• Adult Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
