Job Summary
We're hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the AgeWell Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, house calls position for Baptist AgeWell.
The AgeWell Department is seeking a Medical Assistant II to support their team. AgeWell services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! The Medical Assistant II will see patients in their homes with APRN. This position requires a candidate to have their CMA license as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.
Shift Details: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Medical Assistant II, Baptist AgeWell Department, Job Responsibilities:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician.
- Obtains vital signs.
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit.
- Maintains medical documentation.
- Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician.
- Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals.
- Travel to patient's homes to preform treatment.

- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
License and Certification
