Job Summary

Baptist Health Research Institute is hiring a Clinical Research Nurse to join the research team.  This is a full-time, in-person opportunity located on the downtown Jacksonville campus.  

Responsibilities include:

Under the general direction of the Oncology Research Director, the Oncology Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for the conduct of oncology research activities throughout BMDACC. The Oncology Clinical Research Nurse ensures that research is conducted in accordance with established standards by working with clinical investigators to coordinate study-related activities. These activities will be clinical, regulatory and administrative in nature. The Oncology Clinical Research Nurse coordinates numerous protocols simultaneously. She/he will ensure assigned protocols are consistent with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (BCP), Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA), local regulations, institutional policies and procedures, and sponsor specifications. The Oncology Clinical Research Nurse will maintain knowledge of clinical practice standards, oncology nursing practice standards, JCAHO related safety requirements, OHRP requirements, human subject protection standards, and all institutional policies and procedures.

** Must be able to take call every 6 yo 8 weeks.

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Oncology Experience

License and Certification

  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
